Open Gyms/Workouts - please see the home page with the pre-season calendar.

Open gyms and workouts are totally optional, but also recommended. I do not expect girls to make it to all of them - they need and deserve a great Summer so please don’t plan around these. Take your vacations and enjoy them!!!

JULY 17-19 High School Nike Camp

Nike Camp is not affiliated with Summit and is open to any high school athletes. James Finley (director) and I have worked together in the past and we wanted to give a full multi-day camp option (that didn’t include travel) to Central Oregon athletes.

I do not place athletes on courts and I do not look at them in any regards to try-outs with Summit. This is an awesome camp if they get the opportunity to attend!

JULY 29-AUGUST 2 Moratorium Week

Moratorium Week - No volleyball, no contact with coaches.

AUGUST 5-7 Jr. Storm Camp

Jr. Storm Camp - hosted by our program for 3rd-8th graders. If your athlete was on our Varsity or JV team last season, they have the potential to be a counselor at our camp. Counselors are expected to attend the full day 9am-12pm.

AUGUST 19TH - 2024 SEASON BEGINS!!! TRYOUTS: August 19-21

Those that are chosen for one of our rosters will begin practice 8/22 - this is the start of our season. I do not recommend travel after 8/18/24. TRY-OUTS AND PRACTICES ARE MANDATORY.

AUGUST 26 - FALL TEAM/PARENT MEETING Mandatory that all Athletes and at least one Parent attends.

Fall sports meeting followed by our volleyball program meeting, then individual team meetings. PLEASE KEEP THIS EVENING OPEN. This is mandatory and both ATHLETES AND PARENTS are expected to attend.

AUGUST 25 - PROGRAM RETREAT Mandatory that all athletes attend

Program Retreat for all Summit Volleyball Athletes - August 25. PLEASE KEEP THIS DAY OPEN.

We leave early morning and will be back mid-afternoon!

AUGUST 29TH - SUMMIT JAMBOREE - Mandatory that all athletes attend

***We will have games (and will travel) before school starts so be aware you athlete will be expected to be there as our season begins August 19th. Our schedule is not currently finalized.
